Tinubu Begins Three-Week Working Vacation In Europe Today
ABUJA, NIGERIA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to depart Abuja today, August 30, 2026, for Europe to begin a three-week annual leave.
According to an official statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the Nigerian leader will make London, United Kingdom, his first stop during the trip.
The vacation is designated as a working vacation. President Tinubu is expected to return to the country immediately after his three-week leave to join the intense political campaigns ahead of the January 2027 general elections.
