TechConnect 2:0: Interswitch Set To Unveil New Solutions
Africa’s leading integrated digital payment and e-commerce company, Interswitch Group, is set to launch an array of innovative financial products and solutions to drive the growth of the financial industry at the second edition of Interswitch TechConnect.
The event will also provide a platform for industry players to discuss topical issues and industry trends with the goal of facilitating the growth of digital payments in the country.
The two-day event themed ‘Collaborating for Industry Growth and Profitability’ is billed to hold on September 21st and 22nd , 2022 in Victoria Island, Lagos with a close-out cocktail party on September 22nd.
The array products to be unveiled include Fintech-in-a-box; Fraud Solution-as-a-Service (FSAAS); Banking-as-a-Service; Payment-as-a- Service; Interswitch Security-as-a-Service; Mobile Banking-as -a-Service and Biometrics on POS and Value financing.
These products will go a long way to improve the digital payment solutions that financial institutions, banks, Fintechs and microfinance banks offer to their customers.
The launch of these products will address prevailing issues within the payment ecosystem, enhance business development and customer experience.
In addition, the products have been designed to protect end users from digital payment fraud as well as avail them with faster and more convenient ways to validate payments. Financial institutions will also be able to rapidly integrate to newer payment channels with the new intuitive and flexible enterprise technologies.
Speaking about the forthcoming launch, Akeem Lawal, Managing Director, Interswitch Purepay, said Interswitch is not resting on its oars as it continues to design innovative products tailored to meet the needs of customers including banks, Fintechs, financial institutions, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) among others.
He further said beyond launching the products, TechConnect 2.0 is organized to bring players in the financial industry together with the goal of deepening the growth of digital payment in the country.

Mitchel Elegbe, Founder and Group Managing Director at Interswitch is expected to deliver the keynote address during the two-day event.
Also slated to share insights and join other industry experts in a panel session are Akeem Lawal, Managing Director, Interswitch Purepay and Jonah Adams, Managing Director, Interswitch Systegra.
