New Beginning: Pastor Jimmy Odukoya Unveils New Wife, Mo, To Congregation

LAGOS, NIGERIA — Jimmy Odukoya, the actor-turned-cleric and Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, has officially introduced his new wife, Mo Odukoya, to his congregation.

The surprise announcement took place during a lively Sunday service at the church’s headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos.

Amid cheers and a standing ovation from the worshippers, Odukoya invited his new partner to the altar, introducing her with affectionate words.

“Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs. Mo Odukoya. Your First Lady, my wife,” Odukoya declared.

He further described her as “flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone, my left and right ribs, my sure guy.”

Hours before the service, the cleric had hinted at the union on his official Instagram page. He shared a close-up photograph of two hands adorned with wedding rings, accompanied by a brief caption: “To new beginnings.”

This marriage marks a new chapter for the pastor, who separated from his first wife, Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko, several years ago.

Odukoya and Banjoko were married in London in March 2013 and share two children.

Odukoya assumed leadership of The Fountain of Life Church in September 2023, following the passing of his father, the founding pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

The unveiling of the new “First Lady” has since sparked widespread conversations across Nigerian social media platforms, with public figures and church members offering congratulations and celebrating the couple’s fresh start.
