2023:Osinbajo Not Interested In Presidency—Bwala

….Says Utomi Is A Member Of APC

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Daniel Bwala, has declared that despite the fact that support groups were clamouring for him to join the 2023 presidential race, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is not interested.

Speaking on a public affairs program, Politics Today, monitored in Lagos on Tuesday, Bwala said morally, it’s not right for Osinbajo to contest against his leader, Mr. Bola Tinubu.

Bwala explained that Osinbajo has not shown interest in any of the support groups clamouring for him to contest.

He said; “ Just yesterday, I read a strongly worded statement from Osinbajo’s Spokesman, Laolu Akande saying that his principal won’t declare for president as it’s been reported after the APC convention.

“He had a principal that supported him in 2015, it will be injurious for him to throw his hat in the ring.

“Secondly, where he comes from, traditionally, it’s not wise for him to run against Bola Tinubu who helped him in 2015. One good turn deserves another.

Continuing, Bwala said Osinbajo should come out and stop his supporters, otherwise it would be difficult for him if he allows his supporters to be in limbo, it won’t augur well.

Speaking on the third force, Bwala said one of the proponents, Prof. Pat Utomi is a Member of the APC.

He, however, maintained that nearly all the members of the third force belong to one party or the other, adding that a third force will only come from those who are neutral and not members who are aggrieved.
