World Cup Qualifiers: Ghana- 0-0-Nigeria

The first leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff between Ghana and Nigeria ended in a barren draw on Friday.

The Super Eagles came close to scoring on three occasions, but the Black stars defense line was a hard nut to crack.

In 76th minutes, a foul inside the 18 yard box of the Ghanaians team was overruled after the referee took a second look at the Video Assistant Referee, VAR, which indicated that a foul was committed against the Black star defender before he handled the ball on the turf.

Meanwhile, the second leg of the encounter comes up on Tuesday, 29 March 2022 at the Moshood Abiola’s Stadium, Abuja.
