Photos: Osinbajo, Bakare Pick APC Nomination Forms 

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and former Overseer of Citadel, Pastor Tunde Bakare have picked the All Progressives Congress expression of interest and nomination forms for the presidential primaries slated for May 31 to June 1 in Abuja.

While Pastor Bakare was at the Buhari House in Abuja to pick his forms, the Director General of Osinbajo Campaign Organisaion, Senator Kabir Gaya picked the nomination form on behalf of the Vice President who was attending to state matters.

Pastor Bakare’s entry into the presidential race may have ended months of speculation by those who are confused about the platform he intends to contest the 2023 presidential election.

He was the running mate of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2011 when they contested on the platform of Congress for Progressives Change, CPC, which later merged with other political parties to form APC

Bakare will announce his plan and programmes of action on Monday 9, May 2022 at the Yar’Adua Center, Abuja. Time is 11am.
