Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has debunked the romour making the rounds that he has been dumped by the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for a second term ticket.
An elated Sanwo-Olu who spoke at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, venue of the stakeholders meeting on Friday, said Tinubu bought the expression of interest and nomination forms for him to return for a second term.
The short video saw Tinubu raising the hands of Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat for a second term.
This may have laid to rest the speculation that one Ahmed- Mustapha Olorunfemi has been anointed to replace Sanwo-Olu.
