Owo Massacre: Amosun Visits Akeredolu, Condemns Attack

Presidential Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, today visited the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, to commiserate with him over the Sunday tragic incident that claimed several lives in Owo, while many were wounded.

As reported, over 40 congregants of the St. Francis Catholic Church Owa-luwa Street Owo, Ondo State were killed by yet to be identified gunmen.

Amosun also visited the palace of the Olowo of Owo, Oba, Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye to commiserate with him.

During his visit to the victims of the ill-fated incident, Amosun urged federal government to intensify efforts aimed at rejig the nation’s security architecture to prevent future occurrence of such dastardly act.
