Just In:Mohammed Barkindo, OPEC Secretary-General, Dies Few Hours After Meeting President Buhari At The Aso Rock Villa

The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Muhammad Barkindo, is dead.

Barkindo died on Tuesday evening, according to the Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari.

Barkindo died late Tuesday night few hours after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

Details of his death is still sketchy as at the time of filling this report.
