It’s Official! Ademola Adeleke Is The Osun Governor-Elect

The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke has emerged the winner of the Osun Governorship election conducted on July 16, 2022.

The Returning Officer, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos announced Senator Adeleke as a winner and returned elected having polled 403,371 to defeat the incumbent governor , Mr Adegboyega Oyetola who gaIt was a sweet victory for Adeleke who won with a slight margin in the first ballot in 2018.

He, however, lost during the rerun to Governor Oyetola.
