Sanwo-Olu Appoints Abidakun As Permanent Secretary

A member of the One Health Family, and erstwhile Director, Administration and Human Resource in the Lagos State Ministry of Health, Mrs. Olubusola Ajibola Abidakun has been appointed as Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Public Service, by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Abidakun , who was appointed by the Governor alongside 10 others from the pool of qualified candidates, is a versatile Human Resource professional whose experience cuts across the Advertising, Manufacturing, Banking and Public Sector.

Her experience spans the Human Resource Management Value chain and the Public Sector practice of bespoke Human Resource Model of Administration.

She is a well sought after licensed facilitator on HR roles and practice in the Public Sector. Abidakun is a Strategic Advocate of Growth Mindset (SAGM) in the Lagos State Public Service, highly proactive, a team player, Coach, Mentor, result oriented and a visionary leader.

Prior to her appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Public Service, Abidakun was the Director of Administration and Human Resource at the Ministry of Health where she administered workforce fit across the multi-discipline departments and Units.

She has contributed immensely to the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) in various capacities at Chapter, Branch and National levels.

Abidakun is extremely passionate about coaching and mentoring young adults, loves growing and developing people to have the ‘CAN DO’ and ‘WILL DO’ spirit and her thirst for smart work is addictive.

She and 10 other appointees would be sworn-in today by the Governor at the Lagos House.
