Co-Founder/Deputy Managing Director of VETIVA, one of Nigeria’s leading Capital Management firms, Olaolu Mudashiru is dead.
The Lagos big boy lost his life following a freak accident on Gerrard Road (Onikoyi end), in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Sunday morning.
Sources revealed that the charismatic and lively businessman/investment banker, was cycling with two other professional cyclists, when a drunk driver rammed into their bicycles and sped off, leaving them with very serious injuries.
Mudashiru and the two other cyclists, who had not been identified, were rushed to the Lagoon Hospital on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi, where Mudashiru eventually died from injuries to the head, according to our very reliable sources.
We are yet to get more information on the condition of the two others.
Mudashiru, who trained as a medical doctor, was the son of former Lagos State Military Administrator, late Air Commodore Gbolahan Mudashiru. He was in his early 50s.
As at the time of writing, VETIVA had not released a formal statement on the unfortunate incident.
