Just In:Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat’s Nomination Inchoate- JANDOR …….Says Governor-Elect Presented Fake 1981 WAEC Certificate To INEC

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State in the just concluded March 18 governorship election, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR, has accused governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of presenting fake 1981 West African Examination Certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

He spoke on Arise News programme, Morning Show, monitored in Lagos on Tuesday.

According to JANDOR, even Sanwo-Olu’s Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat did not include the sworn affidavit to validate his claims on form CF001 submitted to the INEC.

JANDOR says this and some other breaches of the Electoral Act 2022 as ammended has made the governor and his deputy ineligible for the election.

JANDOR said he was curious when governor Sanwo-Olu did not include the photocopy of the secondary school he claimed to have attended in 1981 which prompted him to search for the 1981 results he submitted in 2019.

He said; ” When we approached the WAEC for the authenticity of the results, they told us to buy the scratch card. Our investigation showed that that result presented by Sanwo-Olu never existed. It was fake.” He added.

On Labour Party’s gubernatorial candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, JANDOR said he lied on oath. “As at June 18, 2022 when he claimed to have joined the LP, he was in the PDP. As a matter of fact, on June 22, 2022, he was at the Wadata Plaza National headquarters of the PDP to be screened for deputy governorship slot. So, we are praying the Tribunal to declare me winner of the election on the dictum of law that says, ‘you can’t build something on nothing’. He said.
