Yoruba Actor Murphy Afolabi Is Dead

Hours after the death of two prominent actors, the Nigerian film industry is mourning again with popular Yoruba actor, Murphy Afolabi reported to have died on Sunday, 14 May, 2023.

News of his death was reported to have been broken by another popular actor, Seun Olaiya.

A prominent Yoruba actress confirmed the news to thegazellenews.com.

“Yes. Seun Olaiya posted it on his social media handles. He said he (Murphy) fell in the bathroom and subsequently slipped into coma before he was declared dead,” she said.
