Rivers state Governor, Mr Similaye Fubara, has begged his predecessor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike not to be too far from him as he prepares to join the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Fubara made the plea at the weekend in Porth Harcourt during the Thanksgiving Service orgainsed by Wike to thank the Lord for seeing him through turbulent reign.
The governor oblivious of the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party and what lies ahead in the days ahead urged Wike not to be far from him.
“While we are seeing sign that it’s like you want to go over to the other side with everybody wishing that, please don’t be too far from me because I know that the sharks, the tigers are really around looking for what to hurt.
“So, being around would continue to guide and put my head straight for the purpose of this state,” Fubara said.
At the Thanksgiving Service, Wike regaled his audience how he was poisoned at the PDP’s headquarters and his liver and kidney got damaged.
He also explained that his wife was attacked spiritually.
