FAAN Equipment Glitch Disrupts Air Peace Flights
Air Peace has announced disruptions to its flight operations following the failure of a baggage screening machine at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Domestic Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The airline said the technical fault has slowed baggage screening and loading, forcing some aircraft to remain on the ground and causing delays to scheduled departures from Abuja.
The disruption has also affected subsequent flight rotations across its network.
Air Peace said it is working closely with the relevant airport authorities to restore normal operations as quickly as possible while making every effort to minimise delays and ensure the safe processing of passengers and their baggage.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience and appealed for passengers’ patience and understanding, assuring them that safety remains its highest priority and that further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
