Gov Oyebanji Resumes Office Monday After Two-Week Annual Leave

ADO-EKITI — The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, is set to resume official duties on Monday, September 7, 2026, following the conclusion of his two-week statutory annual leave.

The resumption was announced in a press statement issued on Sunday by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Olayinka Oyebode.

According to the statement, despite being on leave, Governor Oyebanji continued to attend to crucial matters regarding the governance and administration of the state.

The media aide noted that the Governor is returning to office with renewed vigour as preparations for the commencement of his second-term administration gather momentum.
