Pastor Korede Komaiya Is Poor, The Spirit From His Father’s House Never Left Him- Abel Damina
Controversial Pastor , Rev Abel Damina has mocked Pastor Korede Komaiya over his comment that he would never follow any poor Pastor.
Damina in a video that has now gone viral said Pastor Komaiya is misrepresenting what the Bible says , adding that the poverty of his father’s house has not left him.
He said, ” Pastor Komaiya is wrong about what he said, not being able to follow poor Pastor. The Bible says godliness with contentment is great gain. He’s a poor man. Rich people don’t make noise about wealth. The spirit of poverty of his father’s house has not left him.”
Pastor Komaiya who explained last year how he contributed with other fellow Pastors to buy a Rolls Royce for the founder of Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo during his 70th birthday anniversary said he doesn’t care a hoot if people criticise him for the controversial statement.
Another neitizen Jonas Nnanna also criticised Pastor Komaiya using his suit to portray him during his wedding some years back.
He said:
“This is the pastor, Korede Komaiya, who said that he would never follow a poor pastor. He said this referencing Prv. 19:4 that says that wealth attracts friends while poverty scares people away.
“However he failed to highlight the context and the correct mind of God towards this Bible verse. Conversely, he rather painted a bad picture of materiaism, hatred and discrimination against ministers who worship God in spirit and truth but yet to be staunchly rich with money.
“This is very unfortunate. Using one’s mad obsession with money to misinterpret the Bible is most regrettable. It is averse to the Gospel of Christ. Money is good and should be desired. But it shouldn’t be a yardstick for choosing men of God or believers to follow.
” Ironically, see for yourself the pictures of the pastor’s wedding when he was still in the days of little beginning, yet people followed him until he got to this level where he now wears cloths worth of hundreds of thousands. What if nobody followed him that time? Just imagine his suit or coat? Look at his cheek and chin!
“See how very hungry and impoverished he appeared but people still followed him because of first, the dignity of being a human being and the integrity of the Gospel of Christ entrusted to him. I don’t like greedy people at all.”
