2023: Group Canvasses For Power Shift To South East

A political pressure group, Movement for Fundamental Change, FMC, has said for equity, fairness and justice, power must shift to the south east in 2023.

The group in a statement signed by its national chairman, Adegboyega Adeniji and media adviser, Ezekiel Kumi said all other geo-political zones have produced President with the exclusion of the south east.

The group maintains that since the south east has only been head of state for less than one percent (1%) since Nigeria independence in 1960, fairness demands that a strong and visionary newsbred president from the south east in 2023 will correct the imbalances.
