I’ll Conquer The Cabal In Nigeria’s Energy Sector, PDP Presidential Aspirant, Dele Momodu Vows

A Presidential Aspirant under the umbrella of  the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  Chief Dele Momodu, has on Monday  said that a cabal is responsible for Nigeria’s poor power supply over the years and vowed to end their inglorious reign if elected the next president of country. 

Momodu , a Journalists and Publisher of Ovation International Magazine also promised to prioritize the educational sector and ensure that Nigeria students are able to access quality education without needing to fly out of the country.

Chief Momodu said he is  prepared to wield the big stick on all persons responsible for the deliberate failures associated with the power sector. 

This was disclosed in Maiduguri the Borno State capital where Chief Dele Momodu visited the state to pay a condolence visit to one his associates.  

The Presidential Aspirant who said he his still consulting with members of his party, blamed the epileptic  power supply in the country to very few individuals whom he described as enemies of the country whose activities needs to be halted.  

” I hate that word – the cabal – they are the ones that holds the power sector. The determination of one leader to succeed where others failed will change the bureaucracy holding the power sector . 

” I have the knowledge and solutions to fix  power sector problem, if you don’t know how to go about it , they ( Cabal) will brow beat you and you can’t give what you don’t have . ” Chief Momodu said.

The Presidential Aspirant revealed that had supported President Muhammadu Buhari to effect the changes in the energy and other sectors but wondered why the president failed to deliver on his promises .

” That’s one of the reasons we supported Baba Buhari,  and everybody knows he is a very disciplined Man . But unfortunately, I dont know what happened , may be ill health , he couldn’t do those things we we expected him to do – and that’s (referring to fixing problems in the power sector) one thing we expected him to do .

The ace Journalist and publisher added that ” I’m not joking , anyone who knows me is aware that I have been imprisoned, forced into exile for three years, I have have what it takes to fix the problems in the energy sector.  ” 

On Education, Chief Momodu revealed that apart from providing the quality education,  his admiration, if elected will also pay attention to vocational education and ensure that youths are given the requisite knowledge to be self reliant.  

He blamed insecurity in different parts of  the country on the the failure of the government to provide quality education and vocational education to jobless youths stressing that he is  well prepared to change the narrative.  

”  Education will be given priority, its not just about going to school and obtain a certificate.  We will encourage more of vocational studies , we have too many talented youths on the streets and it’s not just about buying guns to fight insecurity, we will engage the youths positively.  

He appreciated the people  for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage  and assured them  that Borno State and other parts of the North East  region will once again witness peace and economic prosperity if he is elected as the next president, come 2023 presidential election.
