Ahead of 2023 presidential election, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has presented his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima to Osun State Council of Traditional rulers.
The meeting which held in Osogbo today had Ooni of Ife, HIM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and other prominent Traditional rulers in attendance.
The meeting according to the source was to introduce Shettima to Osun Obas.
It will be recalled that the nomination of Shettima has elicited many reactions across the country.
While some top APC chieftains such as Tonye Princewill, Daniel Bwala, Kenneth Okonkwo have all resigned their membership based on the Muslim-Muslim ticket, others such as minister of state for Labour, Festus Keyamo and former legal adviser of the APC, Babatunde Kwame Ogala have embraced it as a winning strategy.
