Attacks On Traditional Rulers: Kidnappers Will Kill, Abduct More Obas Unless They Embrace God, Oluwo Warns …Says Govs Responsible For High Cost Of Living
Oluwo of Iwo, HRM Oba Abdurosheed Akanbi, Telu 1, has issued a stern warning to south west traditional rulers that more will be killed or kidnapped unless they embrace God, who enthroned them.
Oluwo, who spoke to Alaroye, said Obas were attacked and killed because they have refused to embrace God, their creator who enthroned them.
He said instead they have become idol worshippers and associated with fetishism.
He, however, said that kidnapping and assassination will continue to be the lot of the traditional rulers until they embrace God and shun idol worshipping.
The controversial monarch said nobody can kill or kidnap him because he had found refuge in God, saying death sentence should be meted to kidnappers to serve as a deterrent.
On the high cost of living in Nigeria, Oba Akanbi blames the governors who he accused of not doing enough to alleviate poverty despite increased FAAC allocation since the removal of fuel subsidy in May 2023.
