Why The Church Is Supporting Sanwo-Olu For Second Term—Ajose

Lagos state director, Directorate of Politics and Governance, Bishop Dr. Theophilus Taiwo Ajose, has said it’s incumbent on the church in the state to support Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his second term bid.

Ajose in a statement sent to Newsnow said the church in Lagos State asked for a Christian Governor and  Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has done very well in the last four years. 

According to him, this Gubernatorial election is not about any political party but about the Candidate. 

“Mr. Sanwo-Olu has made Christians very proud and has governed the state without any religious bias. 

“He is one of us and the Church is speaking with one voice that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu deserves our support again. 

“I call on all great church leaders across different religious divides – Pentecostals, Orthodox, OAIC, Muslims, religious and Christian organizations to support the gubernatorial candidacy of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu,” he said.

Bishop Dr. Theophilus Taiwo Ajose is the President, Ajose Ministries International Inc., and Rector, Prayer and Intercession School. He is also the Special Adviser (General Duties) to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman in Lagos and State Secretary, CPFN/PFN Block, Lagos State. Dr. Ajose, who doubles as State Director, Directorate of Politics and Governance (DPG), Lagos, and Zonal Deputy Director (South West) DPG, is also President, Organisation of Christians in Democracy (OCD)
